Well, isn't this fun! A gingerbread ale should be to Christmas what pumpkin ale is to Halloween, and it is! It's also organic which is good, right? I'm giving this healthy and timely brew 5 Christmas cookies!

Counting down the days to Halloween with a different fall inspired beer each day. Today's brew: Smutty Nose Pumpkin Ale. It gets 4 out of 5 pumpkins on my rating scale which pretty much means: Yummy!

According to Dan Panepinto and the guy at Shep's beer store, pumpkin ale season is soooo over. 

I was devastated until I tried this delicious treat! It gets 5 snowflakes for flavor and 5 more for giving me hope that winter will be as tasty as fall was!

This was a community effort with my old pals Marc, Jason, and Nikki. We detected notes of dark chocolate and a whole lot of roasted nuttiness  The three of them are a whole lot of nuttiness too so it all comes full circle. No pumpkins but let's go ahead and toss it two nuts. Eh.
